Born in 1980 into a politically active family of Lahore, Pakistan. completed pre-medical and Bachelors of Arts in 1998. After that done with master of Science in Economics from Quaid Azam University Islamabad. Along with this, she has done master of science in Environment and development from king’s college London.
Political Career:
She started her political career in 2013 on reserved seat for women in 2013 as well as in 2018. Served as minister of state and later federal minister for information and broadcasting from April 2022-2023.
After that, she becomes information secretary of PMLN party. In 2024 she transited to Punjab provisional assembly taking oath as a member and was appointed as senior minister in government of Punjab to oversee portfolio like planning, environmental protection,forestry,fishery,wildlife,tourism,archaeology, and museums.
She has been actively working in various projects in Punjab province working along with federal government. And considered as backbone of Pakistan Muslim league party working day and night for the betterment of party as well as serving of people of Pakistan. Along with Chief minister of Punjab Mariyam Nawaz Sharif participating in inauguration of governmental projects and schemes and launches new projects across the country. She has experience in non profitable organizations like world wide fund.
